The infrastructure problems can very easily be overcome. I have a plan that will not cost the public and will create thousands of jobs. All of the Western countries are putting the infrastructure in place for hydrogen fueled vehicles. California is one of a few states that is actively pursuing the installation of hydrogen stations statewide.
Meanwhile Honda and I believe Toyota have home units to create hydrogen refuel the vehicles. Most of the states and many of the city governments as well as the utility companies have hydrogen vehicles on loan that have been provided by companies like Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, Mercedes. There are a host of hydrogen fueled city buses servicing cities like Stockton, CA..

If we replaced half of the gas engines with hydrogen fueled engines we would reverse the warming trend almost overnight. When we first started taking oil out of the ground it had very little impact on the environment. Now we have reached a tipping point and every barrel of crude taken out of the ground has a major impact on the environment. What was good yesterday is not necessarily good today.
Where wind and solar will only lessen our dependence on oil, hydrogen fuel cells will eliminate our dependence on oil and repair the damage done to our environment by gasoline engines and industrial pollutants.jonymor@yahoo.com

US soldier kills 16 Afghans

Our military does to little in teaching religious tolerance. We have had a string of losses in dealing with Islamic countries from Viet Nahm to Iraq and Afghanistan. Although we claim victory in those countries, we only won the opportunity to provide monetary support after we left. There was no political or human rights change won in any of those countries.
The biggest drag on our ability to win in Islamic countries is our ingrained belief that Christianity is the only true religion coupled with the fact that most Christians are ignorant as to what Christianity is. Christians seem to think that if they read the Koran that some monster would envelope them and steal their religion when in fact the major difference between the two religions is the manner in which they pray and the importance that they ascribe certain aspects which both religions have in common.
Just as you have John, Luke and Mathew describing Jesus in the New Testament, you have The Tora, The Bible and The Koran describing a common religion.
We will always have those that hate just because someone is different, but our military can head off some of these events (U.S. soldier kills 16 Afghan civilians) by teaching and making religious tolerance classes mandatory before deployment to Islamic countries. Maybe then we could win enough to make the sacrifice worth the cost in American lives.

Obama’s Trillion-Dollar Exaggeration

The Bush tax cuts are nothing more than an attempt to gain political credits with the voters. Most Republican and Democratic voters want the the Bush tax cuts to expire. They offer little or no benefit to the voters and have proven to be a detriment to the economy.

GOP targets child tax break for illegal immigrants

This is a message from a strong Democrat to the party leaders, listen to your base.
A small but good step towards lessening cross border crime and making Mexico a more appealing North American partner would be to take Sen. Claire McCaskill's statement, "We have rules about tax credits and benefits, and it seems to me they need to be applied fairly and across the board," said Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill." a step further.  Mexico would have to offer the same benefits to American citizens before I would consider offering benefits to illegals regardless of where their children were born. Mexico must have the same safety nets and legal protections for American citizens as America has for Mexican citizens.

Gingrich Blasts Obama's Birth Control Policy as 'Outrageous Assault' on Religion

The Obama administration has attempted to level the playing field and protect religious freedom by not allowing organizations affiliated with "churches" that employ people of other religions to force those people to follow that organizations religious beliefs. Medical coverage should not be determined by the doctrine of the church unless of course you are willing to change the Constitutional mandate of separation of church and state and instill a policy similar to Iran's version of Islam.

Russia, China veto U.N. resolution telling Assad to quit

In order for the United Nations to be effective in promoting the ideals in it's charter, it has to do away with the veto power. The veto power has corrupted a needed international organization for the good of humanity and turned it into a non-functional organization when dealing with countries that want to continue suppressing killing, maiming and denying freedom to it's citizens. In the interest of world peace, the United Nations needs to be color blind.

Now that Melanie Amaro has won X-Factor, she should get as far away from Simon Cowell as possible. Simon Cowell may sell records in England, but he will only be a drag on Melanie's career in the U.S.

If Attorney General Eric Holder was not intelligent enough to see that he was being set up, then he should resign as Attorney General.
