That should not be allowed. Simon rightfully took the blame for Drew's departure, but his lapse in judgement was minor when compared to Nicole and Paula Abdul's very very poor selection of songs. I hope that I'm only imagining that the poor song selections are intended to influence the outcome. The judges should take a step back and allow the contestants to choose a producer from a pool of producers. One of the judges gives the perception of color discrimination. I have been impressed when a judge votes for another judges' contestant.... you know what "I am NOT at all impressed" with the whole set up of the show.
