Brinksmanship on Obama Medicaid Expansion for Poor
Jonymor • a second agoRemove
"The state does not want to expand Medicaid and get stuck with the bill," is a cop out used by politicians to deny poor and indigent people medical care. It so far from the truth that only an idiot would believe it. The Medicaid expansion will create enough taxable jobs in medical fields to pay for itself and put a sizable amount of surplus money in states treasuries. It's a win win proposition for states.Reply

Susan Rice Gains Little Ground With Skeptical Senators
Jonymor • a second agoRemove
I hope President Obama will use executive privilege and appoint Rice as the next secretary of state. All the reasons that Republicans use against Susan Rice make her the best qualified person to replace Clinton when she steps down. Susan Rice is a very strong and a very intelligent woman and Republicans feel intimidated by her.Reply

Susan Rice battles critics over style, substance, perceptions
Jonymor • a second agoRemove
I am surprised at how silent women have on this issue. Rice is the most qualified person in consideration by the "media" and is bring raked over the coals because she is a woman. With a level playing field there wouldn't be a debate, she would be asked to fill the position based on qualifications and proven ability.Reply

Romney faces scrutiny on aid in storm's wake
How many faces does Romney have? We have seen at least two faces of Romney in every crisis situation from Obama Care to the bail out and now Sandy.
Reply
Romney's actions show an obvious disregard for the American people in anticipation of personal financial gain. Count the crisis situations and multiply by two to see how many faces Romney has.

Would Romney abolish FEMA? His campaign says no
Do you believe that someone who flip-flops daily on issues can effectively lead our country? Do you believe that person will continue to flip to appease his constituency? Do you believe that the presidency will make that person more rational? Do you believe in fairy tales??? If you do, then vote for the Double R Brand "Romney and Ryan."

Romney, Ryan Pitched FEMA Cuts
- jonymor • a second agoRemove
What Romney is saying only makes sense to idiots that believe in the false promise of smaller government. State governments in hurricane alley could not have survived on their own. Without FEMA, the disaster volunteers and agencies like the Red Cross working together, the states in hurricane alley would be unlivable. Even though Romney and Ryan have signed off on a death certificate for them, they will follow the Republican party like a chicken follows corn to the chopping block. They will not remember Katrina and will ignore Sandy to their detriment.

Up to 40 percent may vote early in election; Obama ahead
jonymor • a second agoRemove
America needs your vote! We must send a message to the Republican party and all elected officials that we will not stand by and be held captive to a "just say no policy" from any elected officials. Democrats, Republicans and all Americans suffered under the "just say no policy" of the Republican party. It's time to voice your opinion and restore the democratic process by voting those Republicans that participated in the "just say no policy" out of office.
US economic growth improves to 2 pct. rate in Q3

Our economy is emerging from a healing process due to severe damage brought on because of the Bush administration policies. We are on a path to a sustained economic recovery based on technology and clean energy that will rival the good economic times of the Clinton era.
Reply
Because our economy was so severely damaged, most workers in newly created jobs are paying off debt. As their debt decreases spending will increase and new jobs will increase and our economy will soar. Under President Obama's leadership we will again become the envy of the free world.
Your choice at the polls will be Obama and prosperity or Romney and a depressed economy. I believe that if you do the math, you will vote for Obama and prosperity Look beyond the obvious and look at the character of the people that are supporting Obama and compare them to the character of the people supporting Romney. Do the math and consider how each candidate changed positions on issues.
Since the beginning of time we have used math as a tool of measurement and it has never let us down. Do the math now and go to the polls and vote for prosperity.

Tax Policy Center in Spotlight for Its Romney Study
- jonymor • a second agoRemove
There is a measure of comfort in hearing someone with more credibility talk about the issues that I saw in Romney's tax plan. The Tax Policy Center correctly said that Romney's plan "would cut taxes for rich families and raise them for everyone else."
Reply
The loop holes and deductions that would be cut under Romney's plan targets the poor and middle class which makes the tax cut an illusion for the poor and middle class and a windfall for the rich.

Be 'Very Worried' About U.S. Economy in 2013 and 2014 Says Rogers
jonymor • a second agoRemove
Congress is controlled by Republicans that will push the US into bankruptcy in an attempt to discredit Obama. All the points that Romney brought up in the debate were the result of the "just say no" policy of the Republican party. From the first day of Obama's presidency the Republican party has used the "just say no" policy at the expense of the American people to prevent Obama from winning a second term.Reply
President Obama will not bring up the subject because of the reasons for and where the subject leads and we as Americans do not want to show the world that ugly side of the US.

No quick appeals review of Fla. voter purge case
Jonymor •
A few years ago,I worked as a poll watcher to ensure that nothing illegal was done to contaminate the votes. Now, we must all act as poll watchers to guard our rights to a free and democratic election process and it has to start at the polls.
Republicans should not leave it up to Democrats to save them from themselves, we need everyone's support in keeping the voting process free and democratic. If we allow the Republican party to say who can and cannot vote in Ohio and other states that they are challenging as they did (and are still trying) in Florida, it will devastate our democratic system. We will no longer be able to choose our elected officials, we (Democrats and Republicans) will be at the mercy of the Republican party,s big money leadership.
It's time for the average Republican to step up and say to it's leadership "enough is enough", stop selling us down the river to big money. If there was ever a time for voters to come together and vote for what is right, it's now.

I can't believe this. I remember people used to say "I don't care who you vote for just vote." Now these thinly veiled attempts to make it harder for some people to vote have replaced what used to be a sacred right that all Americans protected no matter what party the voter supported. The... Do black people support Obama because he's black?
Jonymor • a second agoRemove
The main reason that I support Obama is the really bad choice by the Republican Party for President and Vice President. If the Republican Party had nominated an acceptable candidate, I would have switched my support because of issues like same sex marriage, abortion and immigration which I do not share the Democratic Party's view's of.Reply

I had two bad experiences with GM dealerships which soured me towards GM automobiles. GM makes excellent cars and trucks, but their service departments can not be trusted. If you are going to buy an Asian auto, which GM is now, I would recommend Toyota for service. Toyota not only has the best trained service personnel, they hold their service personnel accountable.

No more lies is right! in saying that ""perhaps you should look at who signed the bills that created this problems, those bills were called Nafta, Gatt, the Fair Credit Act and repealing Glass Steagall, these laws were signed by WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON, ..."" AND I will admit that signing those bills was the wrong thing for WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON to do. But the whole switch from a manufacturing based economy to a service based economy was the defining project of Ronald Reagan and every one that signed on to it needs their heads examined, including WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON.

Giving the patients the choice is the right thing to do. For years, doctors have been experimenting not only on Black and Latino patients by administering STD's to sickle cell without their knowledge or consent, but also with wealthy White patients that had no one to advise them. Some of experiments done at hospitals in the U.S. make Hitler look like an angel.Reply

It's entirely possible for a white couple to have one son that is black "James" and another that is "white" Jesus, if and only if one or both parents is partially black. I'm sure our Christian scholars will come with an explanation to explain why Jesus is portrayed as being white when most Israelite's during that period were black.Reply
Fuqua will be disappointed and disturbed if he does his due diligence and discovers that the person he believes is God in the flesh of man, and the savior of mankind is black.
